This is a guide to long-distance trains from Moscow Kievsky Station (Kievsky Station) Москва Киевский (revised and updated in 2019). The station is roughly at the 8 o'clock position when you imagine the Moscow Metro ring line as a clock.
From this station, the Aeroexpress/Aeroekspress train to Vnukovo Airport also departs. (Please refer to the main pagefor timetables. Timetables are at the bottom of the page.)
If you buy your ticket at the station, it costs 500R. If you buy in advance 30 days in advance, it costs 450R, and business class costs 1500R.
First, an introduction to the station.
It is connected to Kievskaya Station on the Metro Circle Line.
The entrance on the side (north entrance?) has a slightly Islamic feel to it.
The station consists of (1) a long-distance train platform with a covered platform in the middle and an uncovered platform on the south side, and (2) a suburban train platform on the north side. The Aeroexpress also boards and alights at the suburban train platform.

〇Suburban lines (direct from Kievsky only)
*The blue line has more than 20 trains a day, the yellow line has more than 10 trains a day, and the red line has fewer than that. The black mark on the blue line indicates a safe section where there are more than 30 trains a day. The number of long-distance trains (including express trains) listed above is not included in this number. If you plan carefully, you should be able to make it to Maloyaroslavets in plenty of time. By the way, the journey time to Kaluga by local train is just over 3 hours, and by express train (as listed above) it is around 2 hours and 40 minutes.
Fares for suburban trains to major stations
469R40K to Kaluga
309R80K (370R express) to Maloyaroslavets
184R (205R express) to Nara
500R to Vnukovo Airport using Aeroexpress
36R to Solnechnaya
The old capitals of Maloyaroslavets and Kaluga, and the Pahnyuchy Monastery in Borovsk are probably worth a visit.
